EXPOCENTRE hosted a meeting with Iranian businessmen

EXPOCENTRE’s management met Iranian businessmen at Metalloobrabotka 2024.

At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Director General Sergey Selivanov expressed condolences on the death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi and his companions. The meeting participants honoured their memory with a minute of silence.

Sergey Selivanov spoke about Metalloobrabotka 2024, the trade show that is being held at EXPOCENTRE. He expressed his gratitude to the Iranian Ambassador in Moscow for the fact that over the past year and a half, joint efforts have significantly increased the participation of Iranian companies in EXPOCENTRE’s exhibitions. During this time, 145 Iranian companies participated in EXPOCENTRE’s own trade shows on a total area of 4,500 square metres. 

Agreements have been reached on cooperation in attracting Iranian companies to participate in EXPOCENTRE’s exhibitions such as Khimia, Interlakokraska, RosBuild, Prodexpo, etc.

Director General of Industry, Mine and Commerce Organization of Markazi Province Mr. Ali Joudaki presented the economic opportunities of Markazi Province and expressed readiness to develop cooperation between Iran and Russia.

The head of the Markazi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and representatives of the Iranian Embassy in Moscow attended the meeting.
